Privacy
Privacy and cookies.
How we handle personal data you provide through this website. This notice applies to proctorassessment.co.uk.
Who we are
Proctor is a security rating scheme administered by Toren Consulting Ltd. For the purposes of UK data protection law, the data controller is Toren Consulting Ltd (company number 10651092), Unit F19, Expressway, 1 Dock Road, London E16 1AH. For anything relating to personal data, contact us at privacy@proctorassessment.co.uk.
What we collect
If you complete the enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, organisation, email address, role, project location, design stage, BREEAM target, whether a BREEAM Assessor is appointed and their email if you give it, and anything you add in the free-text field.
If you join the webinar waiting list, we collect your name, organisation, email address, which session you have chosen and whether you would like to join online or in person, how many colleagues might attend, your office location if you have asked for an in-person session, and anything you add in the free-text field.
We do not collect special category data or data relating to children through this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, to discuss whether and how Proctor can support your project, and, where you have joined the webinar waiting list, to arrange and follow up on the session you have asked about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and requests you have initiated and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not use this data for marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
Enquiries submitted through this website are processed on our behalf by Formspree, our form-handling provider, which delivers your submission to us. The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Both act as our processors under contract. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We may disclose personal data where we are legally required to do so, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Cookies and analytics
With your consent, we use two analytics services to understand how this website is used: Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company). These set cookies and collect information such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the effectiveness of our LinkedIn activity. LinkedIn also uses data collected by its tag for its own purposes as an independent controller, as described in LinkedIn's privacy policy.
No analytics cookies are set unless you accept them through the banner shown on your first visit. Our lawful basis for analytics is your consent, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie choices link in the footer of every page. The site works fully if you decline. Essential cookies set by our host to deliver the site securely and reliably do not require consent.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as necessary to respond and, where it leads to a working relationship, to manage that relationship. After that we delete it, unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@proctorassessment.co.uk.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first, so please contact us before raising a complaint if you can.
