BREEAM Assessor sessions

Join the waiting list.

We run two sessions for BREEAM Assessors and the consultants who work with them, in person or online: an hour on the BREEAM security credits (a compliant SNA from the assessor's side, the pitfalls that lose or delay the credit, then Proctor and the exemplary credit), or a half-hour introduction to Proctor on its own. Most assessors we work with sit within a sustainability team or consultancy, so you can register on behalf of yours. Tell us which session suits you and we will follow up with dates.

What to expect

The one-hour session covers the BREEAM security credits from the assessor's side, then Proctor and the exemplary credit. The half-hour introduction covers Proctor on its own.

Either session can run online or in person at your office, if it is in a town or city in England, Scotland or Wales. Let us know roughly how many from your team would join.

Whichever you choose, waiting list members hear about dates before we announce anything more widely. Prefer to talk sooner? Email info@proctorassessment.co.uk or see Proctor for BREEAM Assessors.

What we'll cover

The one-hour session, in three parts.

A compliant SNA from the assessor's side: what the standard security credit requires of the Security Needs Assessment and the specialist who writes it.

The pitfalls that lose or delay the credit, including the RIBA Stage timing requirement.

Proctor and the exemplary credit: how Hea 08 criterion 4 and Rsl 04 criterion 8 work, the deemed-met route for the standard credit, and what changes in an assessor's workflow once a Proctor Certificate exists. The half-hour introduction covers this last part on its own.
